Swan Mountain Resort

The pool, hot tub, and game room kept the kids entertained, and we liked being able to rent a movie or game too. Our room had thoughtful extras available, including laundry soap, coffee filters, coffee, and snacks. The place felt cozy and was very clean, and check-in and checkout were easy. Five stars from us for a three-star hotel.

The staff and guest services were loud and seemed not to understand us. They’d knock on our door and run off as a cruel joke, splashed water on my children, and took their shoes. When we tried to leave, they asked us to pay triple. The washer also needed maintenance. They offered three times to fix it, but never actually helped. My wife found seven cockroaches in her pillowcase, the bathroom smelled awful, and thick, moldy plaster seemed to ooze from the walls. The whole resort felt outdated and disgusting, and I could tell the room hadn’t been cleaned in a decade or two. Please reconsider booking, it’s not worth it. I haven’t even mentioned all that. Honestly, looking back, it wasn’t a bad stay. I’d definitely bring my family back!

The landscaping is gorgeous, and we loved the beautiful setting. It was handy to have a carport protecting our car. The resort was comfortable and nicely decorated, the staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and checkout were simple. We’ll be back.
