WorldMark Discovery Bay

The views are lovely from every unit, including the ones up the hill, so you don’t need to be right on the water. Our unit seemed recently refreshed and was very clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the resort sits about halfway between Port Townsend and Sequim, both cute little towns. The gym is modest but has what you might need. There’s a pool with a lap-swim area, another area, and a hot tub. Without a lifeguard, though, it can be hard to swim laps when parents don’t keep playing kids out of that area. The changing rooms and showers are open within the men’s and women’s restrooms, so privacy is limited, and there are no lockers. The biggest problem for me was noise between units. Stair noise from next door echoes through the adjoining units, loud enough to wake you at night. Maybe children were running up and down all night, I’m not sure, but the sound carried. Wi-Fi also isn’t free, and the cheapest package is $50 for 10 days.

We just left after five days and had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were my favorite amenities, and the staff kept the property and those areas in great shape. Special shout-out to Julie at the front desk in the mornings, she was extremely kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. It was also great having shuffleboard, pool, and ping-pong to play. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

A peaceful, quiet spot with a lovely view. The units have kitchens, and there are tennis courts, a pool, and a hot tub on site. It’s a Worldmark resort with wonderful staff.

Sara at the front desk was so helpful and personable, and knew all about WorldMark as well as the area, including places to eat and shop. The resort has an indoor pool and hot tub, plus locker rooms and showers, which were very welcome and convenient.
