Best Western Plus Dixon Davis

The nearby shops are handy, and we like the bakery and grocery store across the street, Dutch Bros, and Castleman’s Restaurant at the next exit. The soccer fields are about 20-30 minutes away, which is why we were here. Still, after two stays with room problems, I wouldn’t come back. This time we specifically booked an interior room because the soundproofing is so poor, and the reservation even said that was the reason. We were put in an exterior room again. Early in the morning, we could hear suitcases rolling, people whispering in the hallway, and doors opening and closing as the soccer teams got going. We slept badly. Daylight also comes through the edges of the door, which says a lot about how little it blocks hallway noise. Last year, the shower squealed so loudly we couldn’t use it. It took two days and several maintenance visits to fix. There was hair in the bathtub, the coffee maker didn’t work right, and noise made it hard to sleep. For that three-night stay, we got very few points as compensation. Staff have been polite, but they don’t seem able to resolve things without management getting involved. Frustrated guest!
