Days Inn by Wyndham Dodge City

James was the highlight of our stay. He checked us in around 11:30 pm and was so friendly, expressive, informative, and kind. I’ll remember him. The hotel has had a lot of renovations this past year, according to him, and the basic room was clean and simple. We chose it online over LaQuinta because it advertised one breakfast item, but having stayed at many Wyndham hotels, this breakfast was a huge disappointment. The biscuits and gravy were left unattended, with dried, crusty gravy in the pot. The rest was apples, cuties, tiny yogurt cups, toast, dry cereal, and little muffins. We expected at least sausage and eggs like other places. My husband joked about walking over to LaQuinta for its one breakfast item. Nothing appealed to me, so I didn’t eat, and we got breakfast elsewhere on our way out of town.

I’d left Windsor an average rating before because, despite great customer service, I was unhappy with the cleanliness. The manager apologized and promised to address it. I deleted that review and gave the hotel another chance, and I’m glad I did. The rooms are now super clean, the bed was comfortable, customer service was excellent, and the price is good for a basic hotel. They have breakfast now, too.

We stopped for the night while passing through on our way to Phoenix. Mahi at the front desk was very helpful at check-in, and our recently remodeled room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Bad weather kept the staff at home, so breakfast wasn’t available, but they did offer coffee and juice. We’d definitely stay again.

Mahi is the very best. The staff are so nice and treated me wonderfully. My room was very clean, and I loved it. Breakfast was wonderful, too. I highly recommend them.
