Our car broke down in Dothan around 5pm, too late to get car service, and the Doubletree was a lifesaver. The room was comfortable and reasonably priced, and the restaurant was beautiful with delicious food. Matt at the front desk went above and beyond. His kindness turned a miserable day into a sweet break at the Doubletree.

I was recovering from surgery at Flowers Hospital, so the comfortable bed really mattered. The pillows were just the right mix of firm and soft, and I slept well, though the post-surgery medication probably helped too. The hotel was spotless, and the shower had great pressure and a quality shower head that left me feeling clean and refreshed. Staff were friendly and personable, and made me feel like family. When the TV had a small issue, they fixed it quickly and offered to move us, though that wasn’t needed once it was working. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I’ll definitely be back.

I paid $160 a night and was surprised there wasn’t even continental breakfast. The shower doors had so much scum on them you could hardly see through. Whenever I went outside, the front desk clerk was sitting and watching TV instead of being at the desk. Restaurant staff were sitting at the bar on their phones. Hilton, do better. I could’ve paid less down the street and gotten more.
