Service was the high point: the staff were excellent, friendly, and polite. The lobby looked clean, maybe 8 out of 10, and close to 10. The location takes a little figuring out, but then it's handy for food and fuel. Still, I don't think this is an 8.4 hotel like the score I saw on Booking.com. Maybe a 2 star place gets a bit more leeway, but I don't think so. My room was hit or miss. There was already tip money on a shelf, which made me think housekeeping hadn't wiped it down, and then I worried they hadn't cleaned anything, including the tub and shower. Rooms should be the cleanest part, and mine didn't feel that way. It was borderline musty throughout. I know it's the south, but other places don't have that issue, so it's something to consider. I probably wouldn't stay again if I were in the area. I'd spend extra for a different experience.

The elevator was small and pretty slow, and there were signs everywhere about smoking, vaping, and Marijuana, though it sure smelled like people were smoking all over. The place was otherwise pretty nice. Rooms were clean, staff were nice, and breakfast looked really good. There was a $50 room deposit mentioned, but I never saw the charge. The freeway is close, there's a Cracker Barrel in the parkinglot, and it's close to sux flags. There seemed to be tractor trailor parking too. Other than the earthly aroma... haha, not bad.

The room was clean and parking was good, so I'd definitely stay again. Breakfast was good too, but several items had run out with an hour still left, and it wasn't being monitored closely. Get there early, before breakfast runs out. The Cracker Barrel is right next door. :)

The location is great, but they aren't honest about anything. When I got to my room, I recorded a video, as I always do for this reason. It showed hot sauce stains already on the walls, but they charged me for them anyway. They also said I took a pillow and charged me for it. I didn't even have a bag big enough to carry a pillow, and asked them to check the cameras. Charging me for a room that staff had only half cleaned is ridiculous. When I pointed that out, they denied it, but the housekeepers just don't clean all the way. People should know to steer clear, they're getting over on you.

Clean, great price, and the beds were super comfortable. The location was perfect too. I'd definitely stay here again!
