Hilton Garden Inn Solomons

I couldn't get a good night's sleep because the AC fan kept switching on and off, with no option to leave it running continuously. Those sudden changes in noise can make sleep harder for light sleepers, people sensitive to sound, anyone with jet lag, or people unused to it. When air isn't circulating, the room can also cool or heat unevenly, and the thermostat may not reflect the temperature where people are lying. I bet the hotel's owners don't have AC at home set up that way, so why is it okay for guests? I hate giving this hotel a 1-star review, but that's how the night went.

Great location and plenty of parking, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and I had no issues with them, though the water pressure was a problem for some of the people I was staying with. It didn't affect me as much. I was disappointed by some of the amenities. The pool was closed in the summer, and the gym was about the size of a closet. Hilton should update the amenities and landscaping a bit.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. Victor welcomed my family and me warmly and was very helpful with details about the hotel and information about the area.

My FIRST room had a broken A/C when I checked in. They moved me to a SECOND room in the SAME HOTEL, and there was a mouse in there. I called the front desk and was basically told they couldn't do anything about it. They didn't even offer an upgraded room to make up for the inconvenience. One of the worst Hilton experiences I've had. Avoid this Hilton Garden Inn at all costs.
