Chateau Inn and Suites

The roaches were out in the open as soon as we walked in, roaming all over the room and not even scattering. The bedspreads were filthy and stained, the sheets had lots of cigarette burns, and the furniture looked like discarded pieces made of recycled wood. Everything was falling apart. The AC was missing its entire cover. When we told the manager, she tried to get the on-site maintenance person to fit one, but it didn’t fit. She said pretty much all the rooms were missing AC covers, so switching rooms wouldn’t help. That’s a serious health and safety code issue. Despite the no-refund policy, they gave me my money back on the spot after I threatened to call city inspectors. This place is NEGATIVE 5 Stars. Unless you’re doing business with an escort, you’d be better off in a tent. I wouldn’t sleep here even on my worst night.

I’d come from far away, and found water all over the restroom when I arrived at the motel. I don’t know where it came from, and there were dirty socks behind the restroom door too. The heart-shaped Jacuzzi was good for a laugh, but the whole place was run down. The woman at the front had an attitude when we decided we didn’t want the room after all. I won’t be visiting another motel like this.

They wouldn’t let me inspect the room before paying. It was full of roaches and showed signs of bed bugs. When I tried to get my money back, they said I’d already entered the room. The owner was nasty and suggested I had brought the roaches in. I had to call the police to get my money back. Stay away from this place.

The room smelled like an old, musty attic, so I went out and bought air fresheners. The TV wasn’t connected to anything, the floors were sticky, and the lighting was poor. Awful.
