Mint House Dallas Downtown

The location made it easy to get to nearby restaurants, shops, museums, and entertainment. The support team and staff were helpful and quick to respond, and everything ran smoothly from arrival through departure. The building felt safe and quiet, and it was clean and well maintained throughout. The apartment itself was roomy and modern, with a thoughtful layout. I especially liked having a kitchen and living area, which made the stay more relaxing. It felt more like a luxury apartment than a regular hotel, and it’s a strong option for anyone wanting a comfortable stay with a more residential feel.

Having a washer and dryer in the room made the trip much easier, especially for a longer stay. The room was modern, clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed to unwind. Getting around downtown Dallas was easy from the location, too. I had a great stay at Mint House and would definitely return or recommend it to someone visiting the area.

The skyline views through the big windows are a real highlight, and the Tuft & Needle mattress is very comfortable. I live just a few miles away and like coming to Mint House Dallas for weekend staycations. Getting there on the DART train is a short, easy ride. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The gym in Santander Tower is shared with Peridot residents and has plenty of equipment. It can get busy at peak times, though my 5:00 AM workouts are usually in an empty gym. For anyone in a smaller room without a work desk, the building’s business center has a conference room and private booths where I can get remote work done quietly.

We came for our child’s hospital appointment at 7:15 a.m., and had requested a late checkout ahead of time. I explained why, but never got a clear confirmation, even though there was no indication that anyone else had booked the room. After I struggled to reach staff, someone said they understood and would get back to me first thing in the morning. They didn’t. I also never got an answer about whether the trundle bed had been made up after our late arrival. With the appointment coming up and no response, I paid for late checkout on the website when the option appeared around 9 a.m. I did that so we wouldn’t be disrupted during the hospital procedures. Soon after, I got a text claiming complimentary late checkout had already been approved earlier. That hadn’t happened. I’d been unable to get anyone to properly discuss arranging it. I replied politely, said I hadn’t received that confirmation, and asked if the paid checkout would be reimbursed given the conflicting messages. No one replied after that. We were completely ghosted. The whole thing felt disorganized and, at times, dishonest. The lack of follow-through and inconsistent communication is unacceptable for a hotel, especially when you’re traveling for medical reasons. I wouldn’t recommend this place if honesty, clear communication, or reliable service matter to you.
