Drummond Island Resort

The local wildlife was a lovely extra, and it was great that the place welcomed pets. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, and breakfast was a tasty continental spread. Staff were friendly too. There’s plenty to do right on the property, including a pool, tennis court, firepit, playground, hiking trail, and cornhole. It’s on gorgeous Drummond Island, surrounded by beautiful Lake Huron.

That larger fridge was handy for keeping drinks cold, and I really liked the room and its amenities. My only small gripe is that there weren’t outlets on both sides of the bed. Hardly a big deal, but that’s what kept it from being a five-star room for me.

Dinner at PINS was amazing, and it was attached to the hotel, so it made an easy end to each day. The prices were very affordable too. Our log cabin style room had two queen beds, felt roomy, and was super cute. Breakfast came with the stay and was nice to have each morning, though I did miss having meat or eggs. They had oatmeal, waffles, toast and bagels, fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, and juice. The island was wonderful for trail riding and sightseeing. We loved every minute, 10/10! 😊💛✨️

That mile long cart ride through the woods to the first tee might be my favorite part. The golf course was in great shape and challenging, and the rooms were clean and updated. There’s so much to do at the resort, with a lot of it complimentary, and it’s fun for all ages. Absolutely love DI and the resort. I’ll be back again and again, God willing!
