Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Dry Ridge

For what it cost, I was pleased, and the place was fairly quiet. It seemed reasonably well kept apart from a few quirks, and the town felt relatively safe. The two staff members I dealt with were helpful. Breakfast was a basic school cafeteria sort of spread, nothing fancy, but nice to have in the morning. I did find a hair or two in the tub, and there was some roof discoloration, presumably from old leaks, though it wasn't terrible. This is the same review I put on Expedia, partly in response to comments here that helped me choose. I’d stay at a Microtel again for the price.

The blackout curtains covered the whole window, so we could sleep in on the mornings we didn't need to get up early. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and felt a bit roomier than some hotel rooms. The beds were comfortable too. We'd stayed in Dry Ridge before, but this was our first time at Microtel Inn & Suites, and we were extremely pleased. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and stayed well stocked, with waffles, eggs, sausage, and more. Even with the hotel full that winter weekend, there was plenty of seating and food didn't run out. Five stars, and we plan to return. Great job!

We chose this spot for our group trip to the ark encounter and the creation museum, and the location worked well. For the price, the rooms were decent and staff responded quickly when we needed something. I asked for towels and got them, and Jeff at the desk was nice. The ladies did a great job refilling the breakfast items. There was a good range of food, including scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, toast, waffles, juice, coffee, and tea. I'd come back.

The front desk and breakfast service were very good, and breakfast itself was good too, with eggs, sausage, waffles, and more. I wish I could give five stars, but the hotel is showing wear I don't see in most places, and the room needs a thorough deep cleaning. The shower didn't work, so I took a bath instead.
