Crooked Creek

At 8400’, the ranch feels like an oasis, thanks to the beautiful surroundings and the kind people working there. My partner and I had a lovely night here. The cabin was modest, but clean and very comfortable. Continental breakfast is only $5 per person, and there’s a gas pump available to fill up before heading back down the mountain.

The restaurant had good food and a nice atmosphere, and staff were friendly and happy to share information about the area and recreation. Our cabin had plenty of room and beds for our family of five. The scenery was lovely, with a pond on the property and a kids’ play area. We hope to return when we have more time to explore on ATVs.

Becky joined us for snowmobiling on the second day, and it made for such a great day. We had a fantastic weekend at Crooked Creek. The food and service were great, and we’ll have to come back in the summer!

The people made us feel right at home, especially Mike, the owner, and Becky in the office. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. My husband, our dog, and I stayed at Crooked Creek Ranch this past weekend while visiting the Grand Tetons and Jackson, Wyoming. The ranch sits just outside Dubois, and although the drive up the mountain takes a while, it’s well worth it. At about 8,400 ft, it feels like a peaceful little community. Our cabin was small, simple, cute, and comfortable, with everything we needed. It was clean and well kept, and the on-site restaurant was a favorite. The homemade food was delicious and clearly made with love. We weren’t sure what to expect, but the stay exceeded our expectations. It’s a great place to get away from the busy tourist areas while staying close enough to explore the Tetons and Jackson. Well worth the drive and price. We can’t wait to return!
