Motel 6

My mom and I brought our dog and paid a $75 pet fee each day for three days. The guy at the main office kept walking past our room and looking in the window, which felt really weird. On the first night, he had asked us out to dinner. Then they kept our $50 deposit because there was dog hair on the sheets. This place was very bad, and I wouldn't recommend it at all.

I left my room by 1045, after the 11 checkout time had nearly been cut short, and even recorded how I left it because I don't trust that the employee wouldn't make something up. I've stayed here several times before without trouble and with pleasant staff, but I will NEVER use this motel again. At 1030 this morning, a large gentleman on staff pounded on my door multiple times. I told him I was still in the room and knew the checkout time. The first knock set off my dog, but he came back twice within a minute, banging and yelling through the door, then did it again when I confronted him outside. It felt like harassment. One knock would have been enough. He should compensate me for the 15 minutes he stole from me, and whoever he is should be fired.

Affordable, clean, very basic rooms. The front desk person can be hard to track down, and some rooms seem to have long-term guests. The premises don't feel like the safest, and it's not the most comfortable or convenient place. You get what you pay for.

Clean rooms, friendly atmosphere, and really cool staff. I forget the manager's name, but the manager and Rob at the front desk were helpful and knew the area well. I'd recommend it and come back.
