The Buddha beneath the “bodhi” tree outside was a lovely touch, and I’d stay here again. There aren’t many food options around, though there is a McDonald’s next door. That’s kind of Dumas’ fault. I don’t usually stay at Quality Inns, but I took a chance on this one and found it quiet, clean, and comfortable, just what I needed after a day on the road. In room 203 on the second floor, there was quite a bit of standing water on the floor after my shower. I suspect the bottom guide rails for the glass shower divider weren’t caulked. The manager might want to address it, since the repair cost could eventually be catastrophic, especially on the second floor. It didn’t affect my stay.

One guest played loud music in the parking lot with the car doors open from 11 pm until 3 pm in the morning, and nobody said anything. That really put a damper on an otherwise nice place. For a $100 stay, I should’ve asked for half my money back for the lost sleep. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with beautiful decor. The beds were top notch and the pillows soft. Everything felt top quality, including the shower and bath, microwave, fridge, TV, Wifi, and Cable.

They’ve done an excellent job remodeling this place. It’s much nicer and cleaner than you’d expect for the price or for a tiny town like this. If you’re passing through and need a stop, it looks like the best option for probably hours.

The front desk could be a little more accommodating, but the room was clean and remodeled. It was quiet, felt safe, and was well lit. The TV was nice and the bed was comfortable.
