For the price, it’s a good hotel, with comfy beds, a clean bathroom, and very friendly, helpful people at the front desk. The main problem was the weed smell throughout the halls whenever I left my room. Maybe there’s a no-smoking policy, but walking out made me feel high. At night, there were also a lot of sketchy people walking around outside.

We needed a couple of things in the middle of the night, and the staff helped us out so kindly. They were friendly the whole time and never made us feel like a burden. You could tell they really cared about their guests. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. Thank you, thank you!

The room had a lot of space and big windows that let in plenty of light, and the staff and housekeepers were nice and laid-back. Breakfast was good, too, with a range of individually wrapped name-brand cereal, microwaveable frozen sausage biscuits and bagel breakfast pizzas, muffins, fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, tea, and several juices. There are a couple of lobby tables, but it’s easy to grab food and take it to your room or on the road. Aside from the bugs, the linens, towels, bathroom, and room seemed clean. The location was handy, with Kroger, Ollie’s, Dollar General, and fast food within easy walking distance, plus the parking lot borders the hotel. Los Agaves, a really good Mexican restaurant, is close by. There’s no elevator, and the building seems to be only three floors, so anyone who can’t manage stairs will need a first-floor room. A sweet, friendly, fat brown tabby lives on the property. They have a little cat house by the back porch entrance, and the employees feed them. I don’t know if the cat is male or female, but it was nice to see the workers take them in. We only stayed a couple of days, but saw two roaches on separate nights. One ran out from under the mini fridge around 7 am, and another was on the wall beside the bed at 4:30 am. They definitely looked like German cockroaches, which can hide in things and travel, so don’t leave bags on the floor and check your clothes and suitcases before heading home. You really don’t want to bring them with you. There were no signs of bed bugs, which can be a gamble at cheaper hotels. The bed was awful. I’m pretty young and don’t have major joint problems, but my back hurt so badly that I woke up repeatedly and couldn’t sleep. I tried folded towels for padding and support, but could only manage one or two hours at a time before the pain was too much. I was getting up at 4 or 5 each morning to take ibuprofen, shower, and sit in a chair. I’ve slept more comfortably in my car, and I saw earlier reviews describing the same problem. The stairs and halls always smelled of weed. Some guests got loud, and homeless people were hanging around, so this may not be ideal for families with young kids. It wasn’t a major problem for us, though. I wouldn’t want young women or children walking around outside alone at night. The rooms are large, breakfast is free, the staff are nice, the location is good, and the price is affordable. We were okay here, but if you can spend a bit more for better lodging, I’d probably recommend that.

The staff and breakfast were great, and the woman at the front desk was awesome. My family and I had a great time here. Our room was clean and spacious, and our dog, an EMS pet, was treated really well too. I love this motel. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, clean place where people treat you with respect and kindness.

Breakfast was simple but good, the food seemed fresh, and the breakfast area was clean. The stay was decent, though quite expensive. Staff were friendly, but despite the no-smoking signs the reception smelled of cigarettes. The room was nice enough, but with just three lamps and no overhead light it felt very dark. The location didn’t seem especially safe, although having a grocery store and fast food right next door was handy.
