Club Wyndham Durango

The rooms and the whole property are always spotless. We stay here whenever we're in town, and I love seeing Alex when we arrive. She's so sweet and friendly, and gets excited when she sees us. She really makes the place feel more welcoming.

We rented a one bedroom suite for our first stay here. It was spacious, and the pull out couch for our two kids was big and roomy. The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. There's free laundry and a gym, and you can walk to Main Street and downtown.

The one bedroom had a fabulous bed and a comfortable couch, along with a tiny but mighty kitchen. There's a gym and free laundry downstairs, plus a hot tub upstairs. You can also walk to the Best Western motel and use the indoor pool at no charge. I loved being able to walk to shops, restaurants, a movie, or a train ride. It's convenient to everything.

For hiking or riding, the trail head is a block up the street, and the Animas River is a block the other way. City Market is next door, with some cool local food options nearby, so you don't have to go far. I've stayed here several times, and for cleanliness and location at a reasonable price, I find it the best hotel in town. The staff are helpful and accommodating.
