The restaurant and lobby bar are quite good. I liked the drink specials, and my post-game lunch was excellent. I ordered the potstickers, and the portions were generous. Breakfast at the marketplace was excellent too. JB Duke is especially convenient for anyone doing business at Duke. Cameron, Wallace Wade, Fuqua, and other spots are a short walk away, and the shuttle makes it easy to get around. The parking garage is about a 2 or 3 minute walk from the hotel. There’s also a decent-sized fitness center, with many walking trails through Duke Forest nearby. I had an enjoyable stay.

I’m at Duke brain tumor center for an MRI every six months, and I always eat at this hotel restaurant. The food is great, the atmosphere feels very comfortable, and manager Ashley is so sweet and helpful.

We had such a good stay that this is the only place we’ll book when we’re in the area. The gym has everything you need, there’s a sauna, and outdoor trails are close by. Each floor also has a microwave and water dispenser with different water options. Laundry machines, easy plentiful self-parking, and lots of space and cleanliness all made things convenient. If nature, fitness, functionality, room to spread out, and tranquility matter to you, this place has plenty going for it. Highly recommend!

The property is beautiful and really spacious, and the restaurant is better than I expected. I liked the Korean bowl, and the crème brûlée was great. The dark chocolate dessert was just mid, though. I reckon the chocolate was low quality. You have to sound the alarm system to get the servers’ attention, but aside from that, it was quite good.

We were visiting our son at Duke, and everything we wanted to see on campus was an easy walk away. Our suite was very spacious, with all the amenities we needed close at hand. The hotel has a chic, modern layout that still feels welcoming. The staff were all incredibly nice and did their best to accommodate our needs. This place is top tier!
