Sleep Inn Raleigh Durham Airport

We've been staying at hotels around the Triangle for most of a year while I wait for my house to be built. Sam has made each stay comfortable, easy, and entertaining. The bar and lounge are a big part of that. Without them, this place would deserve just as many stars as the Sheraton across the street. Thanks, Sam.

It was a good value for a functional place to stay, though it wasn't pretty. The hotel was clean, but my room looked old and dated. Everything still worked. Breakfast was okay, with a waffle maker and a few kinds of cereal. I only saw a couple of bananas for fresh fruit, and the orange juice was watered down.

Awful stay. Despite “airport” being in the name, there's no airport shuttle, so know that before booking. Check-in took nearly 20 minutes, and the room was dirty with no toilet paper. I found hair on the bedding, towels, and cups, and ink stains on the linens. One light was broken, and the heater was so loud we couldn't use it. Save your money and book somewhere else. At the same price, you can get a clean mid-range hotel with an airport shuttle.

The rooms feel cheaply put together, and the walls barely block any sound. People were drag racing in front of the building at midnight. Housekeeping was a joke: after three nights with no trash collected and no fresh towels, I had to ask for the room to be serviced.
