Less than five minutes after arriving, we found roaches. When I called the front desk, the agent just said, “It happens,” as though this were normal. He offered to move us, but recent reviews made us think the bugs might be in every room. The chairs and tables were chewed up, and the walls needed repainting too. We were exhausted from traveling, so we cut our losses and stayed one night. If you like cockroaches and paying too much for a motel, this is the place for you. The hotel claims great ratings, but the most recent reviews are awful. It makes you wonder if staff review the place to boost the score. Even the staff said it was slow while we were there, probably because the quality doesn’t match the price.

The staff were very friendly, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel was clean and comfortable overall, but some scratched furniture in the room was in poor shape. Around 10:30 in the morning, the shower water was only lukewarm, and breakfast was just so-so. I wouldn’t stay again.

There was pubic hair on the toilet, in the shower, and on the wall. Absolutely nasty. I’m checking out a day early and would rather sleep in the car. The rooms are dated, the furniture is broken, the WiFi doesn’t work, and the walls are so thin I heard the person next door peeing and every word of their conversation, plus worse. The shower wasn’t hot, and there were no USB chargers. I already had low expectations, and this was worse.

The room was decent as long as you leave the lights on and don’t touch the AC or heater. There’s no night light, and even the shower doors are nice. The front desk staff can’t be bothered. There’s a guy roaming the lobby, checking trash cans and talking to every guest, but nobody seems sure he even works there. Here’s something to know before bed: when you turn off the lights using the master switch by the door, it also shuts off the outlets, fans, and air. We woke up in an 80-degree room with dead phones. Even the lamp beside the bed has a switch, but turning off the lights cuts power to your iPhone too. If there’s an emergency, just read this, the instructions are printed in tiny #3 font. Breakfast is coffee, waffles, boiled eggs, and assorted condiments. We know we didn’t book the Ritz Carlton, but if you’re going to be a totally mediocre hotel, be the best mediocre hotel you can.
