Omni Viking Lakes Hotel

The outdoor pool was a great surprise since we expected only an indoor one, and the fitness center is huge. Ember & Ice had excellent food, with a really nice atmosphere around the big fireplace. I don’t get impressed by hotel service very often anymore, but the whole staff, from the bell team and front desk to dining and maintenance, was friendly, helpful, attentive, and sincere. Such a beautiful hotel.

I booked my first visit to Omni for my birthday, and it turned out to be just what I wanted and more. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and there are plenty of amenities. The new pool and poolside service were a fun extra. Everyone was wonderful to us. I’ve already scheduled another visit. Thanks, Omni staff, for making my birthday so nice.

The outdoor fire pits and on-site restaurants fit the hotel's upscale but still welcoming feel, and the Nordic-inspired spa sounds like another way to unwind. In the rooms, there’s plenty of space, plush bedding, floor-to-ceiling windows, and lovely views of the Viking Lakes landscapes. Everything was impeccably clean. The light-filled lobby makes an impression right away, with design details inspired by the rugged beauty of the American North. Omni Viking Lakes Hotel combines modern Nordic style with attentive hospitality, making it a memorable place to stay for work or leisure.

The coffee shop was a highlight for me. I liked being able to stop in for a morning drink, and the staff there were friendly and the drinks tasty. The conference meals were excellent too, fresh and connected to Minnesota culture and history. I was here for two nights for a conference and would come back. The whole hotel was clean, quiet, and well kept. My room was spacious and comfortable, with robes and a refrigerator. I’d recommend it to others.
