It was quiet and felt safe. The place was neat and clean, and the service was excellent.

The front desk guy was kind and came to my door to help when I was having trouble with the keycard. But the room was too dirty for me. There were several cigarette burns in the comforter, my socks turned black quickly from the floor, and in the morning we found a roach still moving on its back. I saw breakfast mentioned online, but nothing had been set up. It’s a decent hotel otherwise.

It cost less than other rooms in Eagle Pass, and the room itself was fine. I got a double bed in one of the few upstairs units. I arrived around midnight after several other hotels had no vacancies, and the owner or hotel manager came right to the counter to take care of me. I might stay again.

The location was exactly where I needed, but the place was awful. The front desk attendant was incredibly rude, and I was nervous to call him for help when the cable box didn’t work. The room was okay, though everything in it looked very used and outdated. It feels like the place is just limping along with what it has. It needs new management and updated rooms. It’ll do for one night on a quick trip if you just need a roof over your head, but if you can stay somewhere else, DO IT!
