Hollywood Motel

The room and the place were clean, and it was easy to find in a secure location. We spent a couple of hours trying out the jacuzzi.

The jacuzzi was probably the best part, but the jets didn’t work, so I don’t know why you’d pay extra for a room with one. There wasn’t ventilation for the steam either. The room’s control panel was a neat feature, though it had an insane number of mirrors. We’d reserved the room to relax and weren’t planning to stay overnight, but ended up staying. People above us and other strange noises at 3:30 am made it the worst sleep. I definitely wouldn’t come back. As soon as we opened the first-floor room door, the place reeked of weed. We turned on both AC units to try to air it out, but the smell hit us every time we went in or out. The bathroom was disgusting and there was dust everywhere, so anyone with dust allergies should avoid it.

The motel room itself is good, and the other workers are good too. But the Indian guy at the front is very rude and doesn’t care about customers. He won’t put calls through, and the front desk service is poor. The motel is on a highway.

I’ve been coming here for four years and never had an issue before. This time I paid $250 for a room, but Linda was wonderful and got it down to $235. When I left, I thought I’d counted my money correctly, but later found I hadn’t. The rooms were disgusting, with hair in the beds, and I wasn’t happy with the bed service. After Linda, I dealt with the Indian guy who worked there, and he was rude and hostile. It sounded like they were trying to take my money.
