Hampton Inn East Lansing

The staff were friendly and the room was clean enough for an overnight stop, but I wouldn't want to stay in that room longer. The window faced the parking lot, and without blackout curtains, the outside lights made it hard to sleep. There was no exhaust fan, and the shower drain backed up. After three people showered, water pooled in the tub and steam fogged the mirrors. Please fix the plumbing.

We had another good visit, our second time staying here. The room was clean, staff were friendly, and breakfast had good choices for our family. We'd stay again if we're back in the area.

For the Hilton brand, this is the best use of a 30x12 gym space I've seen. It's packed with equipment, including four cardio stations and a Peloton corner. The equipment was clean, like someone actually takes care of it. I'd book here just for the gym.

I booked a stay for the Women in the Arts Event, and they added a cancellation refund policy fee without making it clear. The reservation was also for the wrong dates. When I called to fix that, the woman told me the two nights would cost over $100 more. I asked for a manager to call me back, but no one ever did. I felt scammed and wouldn't use this hotel if you can avoid it.
