Hyatt Place East Moline Quad Cities

My husband and I had a great getaway weekend and loved the view. It was an extremely busy weekend, but Courtney at the front desk handled things professionally and with a great attitude. Even with a full lobby and lots of guests needing help at once, she stayed calm, patient, and helpful. Tony at the 9th floor bar was super friendly and made great drinks. Breakfast was packed, but the staff kept it stocked and moving. I really appreciated how hard everyone was working. The room was comfortable and the hotel was clean.

The price wasn't terrible, and I'd definitely stay here again. The room was clean, with beautiful decor. Part of the view was the river, but the barren industrial parking lot was an eyesore. Breakfast was standard. On a busy Sunday morning, just one person was covering the dining area, so we had to sit at a dirty table.

I brought my granddaughters for an overnight birthday treat, hoping they'd get to swim. The pool was packed at night, and when we tried again in the morning it was still full of kids, so they couldn't swim. The room was extremely hot, too. Turning down the furnace made no difference, and we couldn't sleep. I'll never go back!

We checked in and everything seemed okay. The room was nice and clean, but then we asked Courtney at the front desk for a comforter, sheets, and two pillows. We waited two hours. She claimed we weren't there when she tried to bring them up, though we hadn't left the hotel while waiting. She was rude from the start and brought us a little yellow blanket instead of a comforter. We went back down to get it, and Christine, who was very nice, got it for us. The next day Courtney was there again. We asked for a late checkout, but she said we couldn't, even though everyone else could. She was rude and unprofessional. When we asked for towels, she said there weren't any without even going to the laundry room. We appreciated Christine so much. She was professional and went out of her way for us. Other guests also told us Courtney was making parents call down to ask if their kids could have snacks, which isn't her business. Courtney has an attitude about everything and is very, very rude.
