Telemark Motel

The price makes the Telemark worth it for me and my son. We share a room and the ski trip, and without this place our ski weekends would cost a lot more. We come every year, park close to the mountain, and just cross the street for what's practically ski-in ski-out access. After eating at the slope side bar and grill, we crash in a clean, cozy room. The staff are accommodating about check-in and checkout times. I rarely give five stars, but I love the tellemark!

Everyone was friendly, and I liked the mom-and-pop feel. I stayed for a wedding last week, and the room felt cozy and put me at ease right away. I slept well during my stay, and there are places down the street for a good breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I can see myself visiting again.

We had enough room in the A-frame for two people and our dog, and it felt cozy when we came back inside. As avid skiers, we're not in the room much, but the dog decor made both of us feel welcome. We also really liked the new owners. They were friendly and helpful with whatever we needed. The location was another big plus: we could pull on our boots and walk over to sunrise and the slopes. We love coming up to ski and bring our dog, so it had been hard to find a place that would let him stay. We've already visited for a few days after staying over New Year's, and we'll be back many more times. I'd recommend the telemark to anyone!

I was traveling through Western New York with my dog on a weeknight and expected to arrive late when the motel was quiet. The TeleMark staff were great and made arrangements for a late check-in. The room was nice and had a refrigerator, and the Ellicottville location was perfect. We know where we'll stay next time we pass through. It also looks like a good choice for skiers in winter.
