The people made this stay stand out. The property was comfortable, welcoming, and clean, but Alber at the breakfast bar and barb were especially kind to us. We came down well past the posted breakfast hours and expected to make do with whatever remained, or miss breakfast. They reopened the stations and made fresh food without rushing us or showing frustration. Their generosity made a potentially stressful morning one of the best parts of our trip. The service from the rest of the team was excellent too. Their care reflects so well on the hotel, and we felt truly valued. I’d happily stay somewhere the people make this much of a difference.

Jennifer made check-in easy, and she was so helpful, kind, and funny. Best check-in experience I’ve had anywhere. Barb and another associate were just as helpful at breakfast, kindly clearing our plates right away. The staff were wonderful, and the lobby, bar, and breakfast areas looked amazing and clean. My husband and I had a great stay at the Embassy. The room was spotless, quiet, and had a lovely view of the Peoria skyline and Illinois River. We could tell the Embassy was busy on Valentines night, but we weren’t disturbed. We’d definitely recommend the Embasy to family and friends.

For the price, this place is a great value, especially with breakfast. The omelette was good and the service was friendly. They were replacing all the mattresses while we were there. Hopefully the curtains and furniture get updated next. Still, it was a decent stay.

We’ll definitely come back and hope to work again with this fabulous team. They helped bring a small vision to life, and we’re so grateful. The couples enjoyed themselves, check-in was easy, and the meeting rooms worked perfectly. The manager’s reception and breakfast were good, and the Hilton room was just right for Friday night. Lydia C was good on Saturday morning too. Aja deserves a shout-out. She looked after our group while also handling the manager’s reception and restaurant orders, and never missed a beat. Her customer service was a 10. And the omelet guy was cooking six omelets at once, then handling the bacon, sausage, pancakes, and waffles solo on Saturday. So impressive. The omelets were good, and he made my husband’s fluffy one exactly as requested. Susan, Auna, the Jennifer’s, Kyle, and the guy who graduated from Western Illinois all did an amazing job preparing and hosting our event. I’m sorry I can’t remember his name. The bed was comfortable, and our room was clean with no odor, though the rooms aren’t perfect and the furniture is showing its age. There are plenty of places to eat, shop, and explore nearby. The kids were out of control, though that’s on the parents, coaches, and people traveling with teams, not the hotel. Please supervise them better. They could get hurt, and other guests are trying to enjoy themselves too. We don’t know anything about other hotel guests. Thank you so much!
