Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Airport West/Camp Creek Pkwy

I could hear planes taking off, but it wasn't loud enough to keep me awake. The king suite was spacious and very clean, with a VERY comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious, with omelets, potatoes, sausage, cereal, and oatmeal, and they opened a few moments early. The location is great, and both the desk and breakfast staff were friendly. I'll stay here again when I come back to buy another vehicle.

The live roach I found inside the refrigerator after opening it for water was the last straw. I had no food in there, though I had put leftover takeout inside in a sealed bag earlier. The room smelled musty and sour, so I kept spraying Lysol and perfume to make it bearable. The phone didn't work, which meant walking down to ask for towels and toiletries. After more than one night on those uncomfortable box spring mattresses, I had terrible back, neck, and hip pain. The pillows felt like plastic and flattened seconds after I lay down. I barely slept, worried roaches might crawl on me or get into my bags. Never again. This is definitely under three stars, and with people living there long-term and hanging around the hallways on weekend nights, it wasn't like any Hampton's I've stayed at.

That was a really unpleasant stay, and I wouldn't come back. Around 1 a.m. I woke up to a strong cigarette and weed smell, like someone was smoking in my room. It lasted until about 4 or 5 in the morning, and my hair and clothes smelled like weed by the time I got up. The front desk woman was a little rude and had an attitude too.

Grace at the front desk was very rude, with a passive-aggressive attitude. She showed me no respect or empathy and didn't offer any help at all. Grace, I hope you stop trying to beat the system while smiling and being rude and derogatory to people who need help.
