The bedding was dirty, there was hair in the shower, and they had no towels when it was time to bathe, so I had to go to Walmart and buy my own. The breakfast was disgusting, and the staff were only somewhat friendly. This was by far my worst hotel stay. I won’t stay there again.

If you have a pickup truck, I’d advise against staying here. My truck and several others were broken into. This has happened to me for the second time, and it’s the last. Don’t leave valuables in your vehicle, or you may end up replacing a side window and, in my case, the door as well. It’s happening at other hotels in the area too.

My room was fine and the bed was comfortable, and Mr.D and some of the front desk staff were great. But other employees seemed to have an attitude, and I probably wouldn’t stay again. Nobody explained the hotel amenities or breakfast hours at check-in; Mr.D only went over the shuttle details. I didn’t use the shuttle because the person who answered the phone wasn’t clear about where to go. I said I was walking to the pickup point and was told to call when I got there because they couldn’t wait, but I was already there, so I took an uber. The safe was locked when I checked in. The shower looked dirty, with visible stains on the wall. I offered to clean it with supplies or have someone clean it, but was told I couldn’t get cleaning supplies and nobody could clean it until the next day. I showed a photo and video, and they said it always looked like that and was just stained, but I didn’t believe it had been cleaned. At 2:38am on my last night, the front desk called my room twice to ask if I was running water or had a leak. I had to get up at 5am for my flight, so that really annoyed me. I work at a big Hilton hotel, and we’d never call a room at that hour. It showed no consideration for guests.

The staff here are amazing, friendly, and helpful. I think most of the hotel’s shortcomings come from the owners, who may not be budgeting enough for housekeeping, maintenance, or landscaping. Other hotels nearby have much tidier grounds. This place needs trash picked up along the sidewalks and fence, dead leaves cleared from the front and all around behind the fence, and mulch around the trees. Sprinkler lines stick out of the ground and look like they don’t work. Housekeeping is inconsistent, depending on who cleans your room. Cleaning is fine for a few days, but those of us staying for months for work see the problems regularly. I only request weekly cleaning and get eye rolls when I ask for the whole room to be cleaned rather than just straightened up or given towels. Sorry for asking you to do your job. It’s only a few staff members, but a few bad apples can spoil the barrel. Maybe they have limited funds too, which might explain why paper towels and dishwasher detergent aren’t replenished, and why they mop with fragrant water instead of cleaner. The shower cleaning is awful. These are basic things, and I hope the owners or whoever oversees them will make improvements. Security has gotten better. Lots of cars were broken into when I first arrived, but I’ve seen more security and police presence, so hopefully it stays that way.
