Motel 6 East Ridge, TN

The room I was moved to had extremely dirty bedding, after I’d already had to repack my things because the TV in the first room didn’t work and nobody was available to fix it. The staff member was nice and had only been working there a week, but it still makes me wonder when bedding gets thrown out, even after a year of business. There’s also a deposit per room that isn’t mentioned until after you’ve paid in full and reserved.

All the towels in my room were dirty, and I was too tired to take a close look at the sheets. The room smelled like a public bathroom from some awful disinfectant, with no way to air it out. Honestly, this is one of the nastiest Motel 6s I’ve stayed in.

We didn’t have a pet, but the first room we were given was a pet room. The floor was sticky and the chemical smell was strong, so I went to the office and got another room. That one was clean and didn’t smell.

The room was clean, and the bathroom had great water pressure and temperature. Both the sink and bathtub faucets worked well, which you don’t often get at places like this. There was a bit of noise from the busy life outside.
