Hampton Inn & Suites Syracuse/Carrier Circle

My room was clean and breakfast was good, but the checkout experience was awful. I asked if I could have a few extra minutes, until 11:30, to finish a quick Zoom meeting and was told no. Then housekeeping knocked at 10:59 and waited outside my door for eight minutes, until I left at 11:08. It felt rude and very unprofessional. My company booked the room, not my personal Gold account, but after this I’ll never stay here again and will tell my company this property may not be a good fit.

The scones at breakfast were incredible, definitely my favorite part. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were always so friendly. They made our trip really enjoyable. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Syracuse.

I only stayed one night, and I wish I could’ve stayed the whole week. Check-in was quick and friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the updated bathroom looked contemporary. The pillows were the one small drawback, they were very small. The gym had lots of space, several cardio machines, a pulley machine, and free weights up to 50 pounds. The pool was great too, and breakfast was very good. I loved the waffle maker.

Breakfast was my favorite social part of the stay, and I had a great time everywhere from the gym and pool to the laundry room. They also have fresh fruit water waiting at the entrance each day, sometimes with something different. The room was clean, the staff were amazing, and the customer service was fantastic. Renee and Ken were lovely to talk to, and Colleen at the front desk was five-star amazing. Best hotel experience I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to go back.
