Cedars Inn

The best parts were the friendly, helpful person at the front desk and a really good breakfast. We stayed for my son's birthday, and the hotel itself wasn't bad, but a few things were disappointing. We were told during booking that pets weren't allowed, then saw a couple of guests with dogs. The shower water was a great temperature but came out in a trickle, with less pressure than the tub. The pool railing was so loose my family nearly fell getting in and out. After checkout we stopped across the street at 711 for gas, and within 30 minutes my son's friend realized he'd left his wallet behind. Luckily, it had been found and turned in. The front desk person said the room had already been cleaned and that the housekeeper found it in the bathroom. That quick turnaround left me wondering how thoroughly rooms are cleaned and sanitized between guests. The stay was okay overall.

The location was a little noisy, and the rooms didn't seem soundproof enough for a peaceful night's sleep. Still, we found Cedar Inn Wenatchee clean and in good condition. We stayed two nights, and the rooms were neat and well maintained. The rates were reasonable, breakfast was included, and it was good value for a budget stay.

We live nearby and rented a room mainly to use the pool. It's old and clearly well loved, but warm, and I enjoyed looking up at the sky while swimming. The rooms aren't anything fancy, just clean and cozy. Breakfast was one of the better continental spreads I've had at a budget hotel. Everyone was super friendly, from the person I assume was in maintenance to the kitchen staff, who kept the food fresh with smiles and morning greetings, and the front desk staff. If bars are your thing, there are a few across the road, along with a card place.

The room was clean, and breakfast was good. We had a ground-floor room with a sliding glass door, which made unloading the car and taking our dog out to potty really easy. They're pet friendly.
