Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Wenatchee

The rooms were clean and modern, the staff was friendly, and the location was decent. But the noise stood out. I was on the north side by a fairly busy street, and I could still hear footsteps from the room above. People next door were talking plainly enough that I could make out what they said, even though they weren't having a party. I'm used to hearing nobody in a hotel of this caliber, so this was a letdown.

We loved our stay. The suites are spacious, and the bathroom was excellent, with plenty of well-placed grab bars. The towel rack was positioned so I could reach a towel from the shower.

The rooms are a great size, and the free breakfast was actually pretty good. The pool is under construction, and the gym is fairly small. I'd definitely stay here again.

Service was excellent, and they got me an early check-in, which made a difference. Otherwise, this would've been a three out of five. The elevator seemed very suspect to ride in, so I'd stick to the lower floors. The shower head was disgusting and needs cleaning or replacing. It was clogged and restricted the water pressure. They cap the A/C at 69 degrees, which is absurd. My window was cracked open when I arrived, presumably to keep the A/C running, and there was already a key card in the slot to keep the room powered. If the room can't be cooled to at least 65, you'd think they'd make sure the window was closed and the card removed.
