Whalewalk Inn and Spa

The guest house room was spacious and immaculate, and we spent two nights at this quintessential New England inn. We didn't find the bed and pillows very comfortable, but that was a small thing compared with the rest of our stay. The grounds were beautiful and roomy, with chairs set out for enjoying the outdoors. Our hosts welcomed us warmly, and breakfast was delicious. The location was peaceful while still close enough to reach places by car. We'd certainly come back.

I was rushing out without time to sit down for breakfast, and the staff quickly put together a plate for me to take along. They were attentive and helpful throughout, and made both check-in, even after hours, and check-out easy. I got in touch after leaving and they followed up quickly too. Whalewalk Inn is a cozy spot where I could relax and unplug from work. I strongly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Cape.

It felt homey at Whalewalk Inn, clean and pleasant, without an institutional feel. Our ground-floor room had a little private outdoor area, and shrubs outside gave us privacy without needing to keep the shades down. The grounds were well cared for. Breakfasts were great, with lovely fresh fruit. Drinks and snacks were available all the time, and they supplied beach towels and chairs. We'd definitely stay again.

The whole team was wonderfully attentive, and the care they put into small details says a lot about the owners' leadership. We had three days at Whalewalk Inn on our first visit, and it was a very pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived, and the owners were gracious and welcoming. Our room was spotless, nicely furnished, and stocked with things I'd usually expect at a luxury hotel. The grounds were kept up beautifully, making for a peaceful stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious and clearly prepared with care and good ingredients. The details throughout were impeccable. I only wish they offered dinner. We're already looking forward to returning.
