Candlewood Suites Eau Claire I-94 by IHG

The pool was clean and well maintained, and the hot tub was a lovely way to relax after a day exploring Eau Claire. My partner and I spent a weekend at the Holiday Inn Eau Claire South, and our room exceeded expectations. It was spotlessly clean, cozy, and felt private, with comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere that let us sleep well. Staff at check-in were friendly, and the hotel's overall quality made for a relaxing, memorable visit. We couldn't have been happier. We'll recommend it and look forward to coming back when we're in the area. Live your best life!

The restaurant is inside the hotel, and the food was amazing. Definitely try the zucchini fries, they were so good, though prices are a bit high. We stayed one night on vacation. The room was nice, if more basic than we expected, and all the staff were really nice and helpful. It was a pleasant stay.

I had a frustrating stay, though the place worked well for getting some work done before my court appearance the next day. My mother was with me for much of the night, and Office Max was nearby for making copies. I booked a whirlpool room, but the water wasn't hot. Maintenance was called, and the front desk offered another room for a shower, but I didn't have time. My debit card also wouldn't go through, no matter how many times I tried. The bank said the problem had to be on Holiday Inn's end, since it wasn't theirs, and this has never happened to me anywhere else. The woman who checked me in was very nice and apologetic. We had a connection because she'd recently moved from an area where my home office building is. It seems I'd left some belongings in the room, so they called and I went back. I tried to get a room again, but my debit card still wouldn't work. Luckily, the same employee remembered me and promptly returned my things.

The location is handy on a road trip, with any stores you might need close by, and laundry was easily accessible. Our room was clean and very well maintained. Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse was amazing, and the front desk service was very hospitable. Five stars from me.
