The lake views and the history of the place made our weekend feel like a real chance to unwind. The new owners were so welcoming and made us feel at home, and breakfast the next morning was excellent. We’d love to come back sometime.

We spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony rockers, with the lake right there, and the chairs on the dock were fun too. The owners were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were lovely and comfortable, and everything was quiet and perfectly clean.

Sherry and her husband have taken such thoughtful care of this magnificent home. The decor and upgrades fit the 1820's construction and period so well, and everything was spotless. We came for a quick girls getaway and had an amazing time. The house exceeded our expectations, they were gracious hosts, and there isn't a thing I would change.

That bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the couples massage in our room was fantastic, the best massage ever. We were welcomed by the friendliest lady, who gave us a lovely tour of the grounds. It was our first bed and breakfast stay, and we’ll definitely be back.

The wildlife was a real treat. Within 1 block we saw deer, fawns, turtles, countless birds, and even a red fox as we were leaving. The lake view, pool, and breakfast were great, and the rooms were gorgeous. The place was beautiful and very clean. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
