Amber Inn Motel

Our semi broke down near Eden ID, so we ended up staying at Amber Inn Motel for eight days. They gave us a great rate, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were consistently polite, kind, and friendly. We enjoyed the stay, and I’d definitely recommend Amber Inn. Thanks again!

The staff were friendly and moved me to another room right away, but I still left as soon as it got light. I slept fully dressed, even with socks over my joggers, because I didn’t feel comfortable there. The first room had bugs, dirty blankets, dog hair across both beds, and what looked like feces in the toilet. I only stopped because I’d missed my turn and didn’t want to drive 17 minutes back. At $96 a night, the condition of the place made the price feel unreasonable. Later that day I found a clean hotel in Denver with amenities for $76, a huge difference. It feels like the owners are charging too much to keep an empty property afloat. The motel needs a complete remodel or to be torn down. If you want somewhere clean and relaxing, look elsewhere.

On our way home from Arizona, we stopped here right off the freeway. The rooms were roomy, and I thought the little mints were a sweet touch. The woman at the front desk was super friendly. We’ll definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shower had great pressure; the tub drained well too. Check-in staff were friendly, and the AC had been switched on before we arrived, which was thoughtful. It’s right by the interstate, with a travel oasis nearby that has lots of food choices. Nice place, and I like that there are still independently owned motels where you can park at your door.
