The room was clean and the location was good. I slept well too, the bed and pillows were really comfortable. The tiny bathroom and weak A/C were a letdown, though. Check-in was such a mess that we nearly went looking for another place, but it was graduation time and most hotels were booked. The front desk guy seemed happier to see us leave than arrive. Funny enough, he was very nice when we checked out, LOL.

For a budget stay, it was peaceful and I'd book again. The room was quiet, the towels were clean, and I had hot water, strong A/C, and no odd smells or bug bites. I was expecting less for the price. I checked in early without any hassle, too. There was a crack in the bottom right of the door, so I tucked a washcloth into it to seal it better.

We came into town for the Nascar race, and the place looked nothing like the pictures. It was outdated, the door barely opened or shut, and there were mice. It felt just a notch above a barn. I wouldn't recommend it.

The owner was really rude, complaining about crumbs on the floor even after I explained I have four small kids. The bathroom had mold, and the light had a short in it. One housekeeper was cool, but the other was terrible. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The one thing going for this place is its convenient location for work. Otherwise, the staff were completely unreasonable, the floor was rotten, and bugs were crawling over the 1950 bedspread. There was exposed bare wire in the light socket, and the paint was peeling. I could keep listing problems and still wouldn't find one good thing to say.
