The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with lots of options. The property is clean and well maintained, and the staff were polite and helpful. My room was cleaned nicely, and the second housekeeping service was neat as well. Thanks for everything!

The staff were so nice that I’m giving this three stars, but the stay had some real problems. At check-in, we were told there was no pool because the ceiling had fallen in. There was hair from the previous guest on the bathroom counter, and I found a bug in the bed. That’s not okay for a Marriott. Stay at your own risk.

I’m formally reporting a serious incident from my recent stay. The manager accused me of engaging in “…” and claimed four men had entered my room. That isn’t true. I had two visitors at separate times: one briefly dropped something off, then came back to collect a forgotten item, and the other was a friend who is undergoing cancer treatment. There were never four men in my room. I was given five minutes to leave and threatened with police involvement. I was also labeled “…”, a false and very serious accusation that I believe could be defamatory and harm my reputation. The manager said security camera footage supported her claim. I asked to see it, but she refused. The whole situation was humiliating and hurt my honor and dignity. I intend to pursue my rights through the appropriate legal channels. Many people are saying the same thing about this manager.

The so-called free breakfast was stale bread, watery coffee, and fruit that looked like it had been sitting out for a week. That was just one part of an awful stay in New Jersey. The room didn’t match the photos, smelled musty, had stained carpet, and the mattress felt like concrete. There was hair on the bed, in the sink, shower, and on the towels. The bathroom smelled of mildew, the shower was plugged, the sink was clogged and unusable, and the TV didn’t work. The shower curtain had a suspicious stain and there was soap scum everywhere. My daughter’s brand-new socks came away so dirty we had to throw them out. Maria S said the carpets were four months old, which makes it even more concerning that the room wasn’t being cleaned. I have videos, but could only upload photos here. I contacted the front desk and spoke with Maria, who offered no apology, fix, or room change. Whenever we asked for help, she was indifferent, as were staff when we raised the problems later. At checkout, we got blank stares. It felt like we were bothering them by expecting basic hygiene and working plumbing. This was unsanitary and disgraceful, a health hazard with staff who wouldn’t do the bare minimum. Avoid it, you’ll regret staying here.
