Sunny Edisto Island Duplex - Half Mile to Beach!

There was room for all seven adults and three kids, and the space under the house easily fit three cars. It even had a charging station for electric cars at ground level. The remodeled three-story houses are beautiful, with a short walk to the beach. There are lots of stairs, but the bedrooms were comfortable and nice and cool in summer. The top deck isn't covered, while the other decks are. Upstairs, the third-floor bedroom has its own bathroom. On the second floor are two bedrooms, one with its own bathroom and one with a bathroom in the hall, plus the laundry room. The first floor has the master bedroom and bath, along with a guest bathroom with a sink and toilet. Plenty of space for families to hang out.

We couldn't sit out on the porch or balconies because the no-seeums were eating us alive. The condo was three stories with lots of stairs, and it wasn't too far to walk to the beach, but the bugs were awful. It would help if they sprayed in and around the properties. The island itself is beautiful and cozy. We liked the local shops, especially the used bookstore. One other thing: when my husband first checked us in, staff followed him all the way out to the car to try to set up a meeting. They came out to the car, y'all. Vacationing at wy.dham would be much better without that kind of pressure from staff.

We're having a wonderful time. Our four-bedroom suite is beautiful, and the hospitality staff have been amazing. The area is lovely, with beach access close by and our pool right across the street. It's an island, so shopping is limited, but the shops that are here are very nice.

Great spot for a family get-together. Everyone liked the playground, putt putt golf, and swimming pools. The beach is just down the road, an easy short walk or drive, and there are plenty of right of ways nearby for parking.
