K&E Motor Inn

Room 101 looked fine at check-in, but when we returned from the concert around 11 pm, we saw bugs in the bathroom. Looking closer, it was infested with cockroaches. The front desk closed at 9 pm, so we couldn’t reach anyone. We also couldn’t find another room in our price range, and ended up driving three hours home through pouring rain. This was by far my worst motel or hotel experience. I’ll never come back and strongly recommend against booking here. If you do, inspect the bathroom before settling in.

I’d heard some opinions about this Inn from before the previous owner left, but it’s under new management now and has been renovated. The rooms are really nice, smell clean, and have a comfortable bed, nice floors, and a good-sized bathroom. There’s air conditioning and heat, a microwave, mini fridge, and TV. It was quiet, and Mike was great. Room prices were good compared with other hotels and motels nearby. I’ll stay here again when I need a place around the lynnwood- edmonds area.

I’d been concerned by some of the reviews, which seemed to be about the previous owners. I’m glad the place is in better hands now. K&E isn’t a luxury hotel, but for the price it’s plenty good enough. It was a perfectly reasonable place to spend the night.

K&E has become even better since SARAH, formerly the assistant manager, was promoted to MANAGER. She’ll go out of her way to make your stay safe, pleasant, and quiet. I recommend K&E without reservation!
