The manager's kindness is the reason I'll come back. My city had been hit hard by an ice storm, and we'd been without power for almost a week. I drove to El Dorado to get heaters and propane and was exhausted. The manager understood and let me check in early. I'll never forget that gesture. Kindness matters when people are dealing with something so devastating. I also had a wonderful stay. My room was extremely clean, with crisp white sheets that smelled lovely. The bathroom was immaculate, clean enough that I felt comfortable taking a bath. The staff were amazing, kind, considerate, and ready to help. Breakfast was fantastic, and the employee taking care of it did a phenomenal job. Thanks, Holiday Inn Express & Suites! I got a warm bed, hot bath, and good meal, but also got to see humanity at its finest.

Miss Abigail and Miss Tara were so helpful, and all the ladies here were awesome. They made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and convenient, and I'll stay here whenever I pass through this area.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was standard, nothing special. Service was good and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple, and the pool was closed, though we weren't there to use it. The bathroom had one sink and was mediocre in size. Parking is limited, and the lot is shared with another hotel. It's fairly close to DT El Dorado and the amphitheater, and the BBQ next store was good. For one night, it was fine. For a longer stay I'd probably look closer to DT. I'd give it 3 out of 5.

I was in town for a family reunion this past weekend, and the staff made me feel very welcome. Service was excellent and attentive, my room was clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the breakfast. The pool was out of service, but everything else made for a great stay. I really appreciated the hospitality.

Breakfast was really good, with toast, eggs, sausage, honey biscuits, and pancakes. The coffee was horrible, but we're coffee snobs and picky about it. The first night was incredibly noisy, with people banging doors and yelling. A big family with four kids was put next to us, and it was insane how loud it got. The walls are thin, and the ice machine by the elevator was noisy too. The second night was much better, presumably because the people next door had left. We stayed two nights in a king room on the third floor. Check-in was easy, and although the pool was down, the website had mentioned it was under maintenance. The room was very clean and smelled good. The king bed was comfortable, with both firm and plush pillows. I prefer a softer bed, and this one was firmer than I usually like, but better than at other hotels we've stayed in. The shower was okay, nothing special, with so-so water pressure. We'll definitely stay again next time we're in town visiting family.
