Hyatt House LAX/ Manhattan Beach

We came for a concert at the nearby Kia Forum, and getting there by Uber was quick. The room was clean, the service was excellent, and there are some really good restaurants close by. What stood out most was how Val, Evelyn, and the housekeeping team helped us after my daughter left her precious blanket behind at checkout. They were kind and quick to respond, and made us feel they cared about getting that keepsake back as much as we did. Thank you!

This is my go-to hotel when I visit. Everything is nearby, the place is clean, parking was great, and I love that breakfast is free. Everyone from the manager and front desk to housekeeping and maintenance has been helpful. You can hear some noise from the metro behind the hotel, and with no elevator, the stairs are a workout. Still, I’m happy to stay here.

We slept really well in the first-floor two-bedroom room they upgraded us to. It was a little dated, but suited our plans perfectly. I also liked how seriously they take keeping things quiet and stopping parties. The neighborhood felt safe, and restaurants were within walking distance. For me, this is a better pick than the other Hyatts near LAX.

I was charged $336.60 including tax for parking over 15 nights, even though the hotel had told me in chat before I booked that parking would be complimentary. At check-in they said it was $20 plus tax per night. I complained, and the front desk asked me to email the manager. I sent the chat screenshots during our email exchange, but then they stopped responding and charged me anyway. Some front desk staff also weren't very friendly. Breakfast was okay, though the carpet and sofa had stains. I should have stayed at Hilton Homewood Suites, where I’m a regular and have always gotten complimentary parking. I check amenities carefully when choosing a place.
