I had to move the bed to retrieve my phone after it fell behind it, and found a crack pipe on the floor back there. The room also had holes in the walls, and the shower curtain was so short it didn’t reach the tub, making it hard to shower. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave or coffee maker. Breakfast was limited to cereal and waffles, with no protein, and the front desk wouldn’t provide an extra pillow. Stay somewhere else. You’ll probably be more comfortable in your car than in this so-called hotel.

The workout room is only half lit, and the stationary bike doesn’t work. There’s a bench and a two-piece bar with weights, taped at the ends so they don’t come off. Baymont pictures still hang on the walls, but the hotel doesn’t meet Baymont standards. The first room they gave me had a bathroom door off its hinges. They moved me to another room, which was okay. Its walls had a bizarre mix of cream, blue-gray, and lime green. The hotel wasn’t clean, and during breakfast the reception clerk was loudly chatting on a personal phone call.

We’ve been here for 20 minutes and already want to leave. I didn’t choose or book this place myself. I’d traveled 14 hrs for a wedding, and someone else had booked the room for us. We were put in rm 211. As I shut the door, I spotted a roach on its back. My fiance kicked it before I could get my phone out of my purse. We couldn’t find it afterward, so I went farther into the room with my flashlight and found another roach in the closet. I called the front desk, and she said she’d move us. We went downstairs right away, and the key for rm 107 was ready when we arrived. She pointed us to a room basically below the one we’d just left. Maybe she was trying to avoid a conflict. We put our things in the car before going to look. We didn’t see bugs straight away in the second room, but it still felt like a place where you’d have to sleep with the lights on. The bathroom door wouldn’t close or sit properly in the frame, no matter how hard my fiance tried. The room was filthy and smelled damp and musty, as well as like stale smoke, even though it was supposedly non-smoking. I don’t know if there’s a clean, functioning, bug-free room in this building. I don’t expect to eat the breakfast either. Roaches, filth everywhere. Don’t waste your money. I don’t recommend this 'hotel.'

The staff remade the bed and refolded the towels, but didn’t change the sheets or towels. When I accidentally left my key in the room, I went to the desk for another. They gave me one without asking for my name or ID, which broke hotel chain policy. The building looks outdated, the carpet is stained, and the rooms have roaches and mold in the showers. Breakfast was just a waffle, stale cereal, and sour-tasting juice. No coffee, and there’s no business center. The front desk staff were rude. I won’t return, and I’ll be filing a complaint with the hotel chain. Stay far away. Worst experience ever.
