Hampton Inn & Suites Sacramento-Elk Grove Laguna I-5

We keep booking here and then adding a few more days, because it feels like home and everybody knows your name. The staff treat you like family and respond quickly, and the location is close to the freeway and eateries in one of the nicest neighborhoods. Rishi, the gen. Mgr., takes time to hear about your day, and Rosaley at the front desk is always positive, respectful, and charming. She should be the “face of the property.” I don’t understand the 3.9 rating; to me, it should be at least 4.5. Cheers! Ray T. and Ana M.

I messaged on both Wednesday and Thursday to say I’d arrive very late for my Thursday 5/21 to Sunday 5/24 reservation, and the system acknowledged the messages and said it would be fine. They canceled anyway and charged me for a night. I was already driving from Corona, CA, to Elk Grove, CA, more than 400 miles, and halfway there when I found myself without a room. I’m furious, out $175, four hours from home, and still have a wedding to attend. I have no words.

The staff were kind and amazing, and the parking felt safe even though the hotel is right off the freeway. It was quiet, too, with fast food nearby. I stayed here twice on a trip to Phoenix and had the king suite both times. The room was excellent, with lots of space, a comfy bed, a good layout, a sofa and chair, and a huge desk. The night guy was a little odd, but nice. Highly recommend!

I wasn’t a guest, but Tanya at Hampton Inn still helped me out when the nearby hotel where I was staying didn’t have an EV charger. I walked over looking for help, and she kindly let me use theirs without hesitation. She was gracious, welcoming, and professional, and turned a stressful situation into a good experience. Thanks, Tanya, you made a big difference.
