New Eastern Inn

My only real gripe was checkout at 11. I wish we could've stayed until noon. The room was a decent size, the shower had great water pressure, and the price was pretty good. The hotel has definitely improved over the years.

Being able to walk to everything I need is a big reason this works for me. I've stayed at New Eastern Inn for a long time, and it's a comfortable, relaxing place. The rooms are much larger than at motels I've used before, the beds are comfy, and the heating and AC work great. Prices are good too. Management is awesome. They have smoking and non-smoking options, singles and doubles, plus free WiFi, which is handy when I travel for business and need my laptop. I highly recommend it.

I booked the only room available for my husband and son during the Nascar race, and neither of them was happy with the stay. Their room wasn't very clean, there were bugs, and the staff had bad attitudes. There was drug dealing upstairs and a lot of fighting up there too. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The location makes errands easy: Big Elk Mall is within walking distance, with lots of stores and a new Ollies due to open next week. There's a 7 eleven right next door, and a Walgreen's beside the motel too, so you can pick up hygiene items or medication in about a two-minute walk. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with new televisions, refrigerators, and microwaves in every room. Heating and air conditioning are great. You can choose smoking or non-smoking, single or double rooms. Free WiFi and rooms with desks also make it useful when you're traveling for business and need your laptop. I've always liked staying at New Eastern Inn. The rooms are large and the prices are great. Next time you're in town or want an affordable place for a getaway, give it a try. You'll enjoy your stay!
