Everyone we met was super friendly, and the staff were very accommodating and eager to sort things out. After checking in, we noticed several maintenance issues. They offered to fix them and even move me to another room, but since we were only there for two nights, switching wasn't convenient. I asked them to take care of the problems for the next guest. Everything else was fantastic.

Our room was spacious and clean, and the bed was sooo comfortable. We'll be back! Jenn at the front desk made our few days there great. She's polite, kind, helpful, and gives great service. She even does the laundry and still keeps smiling. Jenn knows her customers by name and asks how are day was. Incredible to have someone who actually cares. Thank you Jenn!! 💕

The room was disappointing for the price. We booked a suite for one night, paying $699 and change, and found a pillow and stress ball left on the floor. The foldout bed had blankets jammed inside that looked unchanged for months, so we used our own. The refrigerator wasn't plugged in, and it was missing a foot, so drinks spilled. We only noticed the fridge problem after throwing out our food the next morning. There was also a "Max Rate: 599.00" notice on the suite door, though we paid $100 more. Online, the highest rate I saw was $629.57 with taxes. When I called, I was told booking would be $619, but my card was charged $699 and change without anyone telling me the total. I'd mentioned the online price twice to the receptionist, so the higher charge felt deceptive. When I asked about it at the desk, manager Amanda Walsh interrupted me and the front desk associate in front of four other people. She loudly said, “if you call MY hotel you get MY price and if you’re looking for a discount or can’t afford it maybe you should book through a third party and get a coupon and those prices are before taxes”. I showed rates from five other sources that were all $50+ cheaper, and she repeated, “well those aren’t on MY website so again, the price is the price”. She kept emphasizing it was HER hotel, which was disrespectful when I was just asking why the charge was much more than I was told. They also emailed a cancellation sheet on 10/11/25 after we'd booked, saying the full amount would be charged unless I cancelled by 10/10/25. That was comical since we'd booked on the 11th. The manager walking her dog around the lobby with a black eye and staring at my wife, my sister, and me with disgust every time we came or went was the cherry on top. I'll have to ask corporate about the charge.

The ski and stay package was great. Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and the location was right in the heart of Ellicottville.
