Everything was fine up until checkout, but that changed fast. At 10:07, a woman with an attitude met us at the door and said, “Check out time!” I stayed calm, but I kept thinking I should've paid a little extra instead of waking up to someone so rude. She stood there watching from 10:07 to 10:20 while we tried to hurry and get out. We were gone by 10:15, and the usual checkout time is 11:00 am. I've never had someone wait and watch as I left a hotel, especially one that wasn't all that to begin with. It's rude and just crazy to stand by the door like that. I would've given her an earful if I hadn't walked away. Will I go back? Hell to the no. She lost a customer, and probably more after people read this. I'm sure they'll say they don't care, which will only prove my point. Get a job instead of lurking by doors like a weirdo while people leave.

For $72 a night, the Budget Inn gave me just what I needed: a clean, safe, affordable place to sleep. Life is subjective, as is my five-star rating, but there's real value in that. The owners clearly look after the property. My room smelled fresh, the sheets were clean, the towels and washcloths looked new, and the floors were so clean that even the bottoms of my socks stayed clean. Other places had already booked up for my unplanned getaway, and then bkg.com had a calendar glitch. I was lucky the Budget Inn owner took my reservation by phone, spoke pleasantly, and assured me a room would be available. When I arrived, it was a pleasure to meet the kind, helpful managers.

The room was nice and clean, and the place was basic but had what we needed for this trip. The so-called garden is pretty funny, though: it's just potted plants and a kiddie pool with plants. There are no washers or dryers, pool, or gym.

The owners were kind, the showers were nice, and the location was really convenient. We planned to stay just one night for our honeymoon, but the rooms were so clean and cozy we added a second night. We had a great stay.

We stayed here for our anniversary in December 2025 and had a very clean room. The management staff were friendly and accommodating with anything we needed. I'd recommend the place and will definitely stay again.
