I asked for a renovated room, and it was immaculate and really clean. The staff were very friendly. The bed was too firm for me, though. The casino is all slots, no tables, and it seemed like the house always wins. At least drinks are free while you're gambling. I'd definitely recommend that the Jail House spend a bit more on comfortable mattresses.

The little burger place inside the casino, Smash & Grab or something like that, was really good. The price was reasonable, which is the only reason I'm giving it three stars. The rooms looked fairly clean, but they need some TLC. There was no microwave, and the fridge was so tiny we could barely fit two water bottles in after freezing them each night. The vanity light was burned out, the toilet seat's coating had worn through to the wood, and the carpet was threadbare. The bed was hard and the pillows were just okay.

I'd seen a few ads for the Jailhouse restaurant, but the motel itself was lousy. The carpets were disgustingly dirty. At least the towels were clean. I hope the sheets were too, but after seeing the carpet I slept in my clothes just in case. The bathroom was mediocre. There were about two dozen gambling machines and a bar on the other side that wasn't very appealing. I'd pick a better motel. Sorry.

The bed was comfortable, but the room floor was dirty. WiFi was really bad too, very spotty and unsecured.

Tresa was a real gem. We had a long drive in, and she was warm and caring when we arrived. The staff were friendly, the rooms clean, and the little place was a lot of fun. Loved the town too. Take a walk around dusk and you might even spot deer.
