I only meant to write about how clean the Enfield Inn was, but the more I think about it, the more they seem to be doing everything right. The room was comfortable and quiet, and the Wi-Fi was strong and easy to get onto. Even the vending machines were great, with $1 candy bars and cans of soda. It's about a block from I 91. I was looking online for a room deal because the hotels seemed overpriced and the motels usually felt shady and gross. The Enfield Inn reviews kept mentioning cleanliness, and the price worked for me, so I booked a room. I'm thinking...

The staff were mostly friendly and the rooms generally clean, but there are serious problems here. The smart heater barely worked, the TV wouldn't turn on, and the floor and hallway seemed tilted or like they were sinking. Two rooms were marked condemned by the health department. The back building also seemed unstable and appeared to shake under load. It isn't terrible, but it's rough around the edges and costs too much.

The grounds are kept so neatly, and the staff are amazing, always so nice. Rooms are comfortable and clean too. Definitely worth staying here.

On my second stay, I had some last-minute scheduling to sort out, and the Enfield Inn accommodated my request. Thanks again! I also asked for an upgrade on an earlier stay, and they gave me one, even though they didn't have to. It's a nice, quiet place with no one being loud. No problems at all. Thank you to everyone at the Enfield Inn!
