The staff were friendly and knew the area well, and they went above and beyond to help make our Door County vacation enjoyable. Waterbury Inn was a great base for visiting the northern part of Door County, including Washington Island and Rock Island State Park. The studio and one-bedroom rooms were immaculate, quiet, and had very comfortable beds. Their kitchens were stocked with what we needed to prepare meals. I’d highly recommend Waterbury Inn to travelers.

The staff at the front desk were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The loft worked well for our kids, with separate twin beds, and there were plenty of pots, pans, and good silverware for the family. The beds weren’t too hard. I was especially pleased with the mini-split A/C on the first level. It worked really well, while the kids were a little warmer upstairs, which they liked. We didn’t have time to use the pools, so I can’t comment on them. There were dogs barking constantly at first, but after I complained, the hotel addressed it with the owners. The $350-a-night price was expensive, though it was the best option for the nearby wedding we attended. I’d stay again, probably in the off-season when I hope it would cost less.

After staying at several hotels in Door County, I can say the Waterbury Inn has been the nicest by far. The rooms, pool, and shared areas are spotless, updated, and well cared for. The location, amenities, and staff are fantastic as well. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, nice place to stay in Door County.

Our son couldn’t get enough of the indoor pool and hot tub, and we also had fun playing ping pong. The gift shop was handy for snacks and souvenirs. We stayed Thursday through Saturday with four adults and one child, and the room worked perfectly, with a loft bedroom, a regular bedroom, and a pullout couch. The small kitchen helped us store and reheat leftovers, and it was nice to step onto the balcony for some fresh air. We loved our time at Waterbury Inn and will stay there again next time we visit Door County.

The room made a real impression when we walked in. It was spacious and extremely clean, and the location was wonderful. I’d highly recommend it.
